The Student Life and Experience Conference (SLEC) is dependent on the active participation and engagement of the entire Caltech community. There are several ways you can get involved and contribute to the success of this important initiative:


Join a Committee

We are forming several committees to focus on specific aspects of student life, including extracurricular activities, campus relations, the first-year experience, and more. Each committee will play a crucial role in identifying challenges, gathering data, and developing actionable recommendations.

Key Dates:

  • Committee Student Sign-Up Launch: October 7, 2024
  • Sign-Up Deadline: October 20, 2024

  2. Select the committee(s) you are interested in joining.
  3. Complete the form with your details and submit.


Participate in Surveys

Your feedback is vital to understanding the current state of student life and identifying areas for improvement. We will be conducting comprehensive surveys to gather insights from students, faculty, and staff.

Survey Timeline:

  • Survey Distribution: January 6, 2025
  • Survey Close: January 17, 2025

Note: Survey Timeline is tentative and could be subject to future change

How to Participate:

  1. Check your email on January 6, 2025, for the survey link.
  2. Complete the survey by January 17, 2025.
  3. Encourage your peers to participate to ensure diverse and comprehensive feedback.

Attend the Conference

Mark your calendars for April 10-11, 2025, and plan to attend the Student Faculty Conference (SFC) and the Student Life and Experience Conference (SLEC). Your presence and input are vital to the success of these events.
