The Student Life and Experience Conference (SLEC) is dependent on the active participation and engagement of the entire Caltech community. There are several ways you can get involved and contribute to the success of this initiative:

Join a Committee - We Need Students!

We are forming several committees to focus on specific aspects of student life. Each committee will play a crucial role in identifying challenges, gathering data, and developing actionable recommendations. All undergraduate students are welcome to sign up to join a committee.

Key Dates:

• Committee Student Sign-Up Launch: October 20, 2025
• Sign-Up Deadline: October 26, 2025
• How to Sign Up:

1. Undergrads can visit the Committee Sign-Up Form here.
2. Select the committee(s) you are interested in joining.
3. Complete the form with your details and submit.

Participate in Surveys

Your feedback is vital to understanding student life's current state and identifying improvement areas. We will be conducting comprehensive surveys to gather insights from students, faculty, and staff.

Survey Timeline - estimates for now:

For Undergraduate Students

• Survey Distribution: late December 2025
• Survey Close: early January 2026

For Staff

• Survey Distribution: December 2025
• Survey Close: January 4, 2026

How to Participate:

1. Check your email for your distribution date for the survey link.
2. Complete the survey by your closing date.
3. Encourage your peers to participate to ensure diverse and comprehensive feedback.

Attend the Conference

Mark your calendars for Friday, April 17, 2026, and plan to attend the Student Life and Experience Conference (SLEC). The location will be on campus and is still to be determined for this year's conference.
